Overview
Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF)
DANAFF is an annual international film event organized by the Vietnam Cinema Development Association in collaboration with the People's Committee of Da Nang City, to honor outstanding film works from Vietnam and the Asia-Pacific region. The festival includes both competitive and non-competitive film categories, prestigious awards, exchange activities, outdoor film screenings and a “Talent Nurturing” workshop.
The opening and closing ceremonies were broadcast live, contributing to spreading high-quality cinema to a wide audience.
DANAFF Awards:
Includes two main categories: Asian Film and Vietnamese Film, with awards: Best Film, Director, Actor, Screenplay and Special Jury Prize.
In addition, there are NETPAC Awards and Audience Favorite Awards (without prize money).
The total value of the awards is up to hundreds of millions of VND and thousands of US dollars.
