The first projects participating in the Genre Film Project category within the Workshop & Project Market of DANAFF III 2025 are gradually demonstrating tangible results, as many ideas continue to be developed, refined, and move into concrete production stages.
A Little Dream of Me — a project by director Chung Chí Công and produced by 30 Pictures — has been officially completed and is scheduled for theatrical release in February 2026. The film promises to present a family story told through a poetic cinematic language, deeply rooted in Vietnamese spirit and blended with distinctive musical elements.
In the same category, Flying Cows by director Nguyễn Phạm Thành Đạt and producer Nguyễn Hữu Thị Tường Vi has enjoyed a remarkable journey, winning the Best Project Award at DANAFF III, presented by the Motion Picture Association (MPA), and later receiving the Kantana Award at the Project Market of the Busan International Film Festival 2025. The project is currently in production and filming, gradually taking shape as it moves closer to audiences.
