Synopsis

On an ordinary day in a city, people struggle for their lives as usual. A group of people that have their own difficulties, slowly turn to be hopeless through a long day. When the night falls, people end their work and come to the new nightclub to lose themselves in the gorgeous illusion.

Director's biography

Yanqi Chen is a new director and screenwriter based in China. After graduating from London Film School in 2016, he started to work on his first feature Day Tripper. Apart from the feature film, he also made three shorts, which are The Road (2016), Deep Sleep (2023) and Unbroken Lockdown and Its Image Fragments (2023).
