Introducing the Projects selected to participate in the Project Incubator – Genre Film Projects Category | DANAFF 2025 The Organizing Committee of the DANAFF 2025 Project Market is pleased to introduce the list of projects officially selected for the Genre Film Projects category for Vietnamese filmmakers – gathering new voices in Vietnamese cinema with clear genre orientation, feasible development structure and aspiration to connect with the market. This year's projects reflect a vibrant appearance in the Vietnamese market developed by young teams with creative thinking and methodical implementation strategies.

GENRE FILM PROJECTS

Selected projects will participate in a 5-day “incubator” program, including an intensive workshop with international mentors and a live networking session at the Project Market with production, distribution and film fund partners.

Teacher Introduction

Kim Youngmin is a veteran South Korean film producer with over 25 years of experience in the film industry. He has produced over 20 feature films and television series throughout his career at companies such as SidusFNH, Studio Dream Capture, MCMC, MAP, and D-Mix Studio. Leonard Haddad is a French film producer and distributor specializing in Asian cinema. He is currently in charge of acquisitions and project development at Metropolitan (distributor) and Davis Films (producer), the companies behind such hits as True Romance, Silent Hill, the Resident Evil series, and the upcoming The Crow.
