Synopsis

Masumi Hayashi was convicted for her alleged role in the "Wakayama Poisoned Curry Killing" of July 25th, 1998, a case that shocked Japan. She was sentenced to death in 2009 by the Supreme Court. Flaws in Japan's judicial system are evident. Masumi's case highlights these flaws and her husband, Kenji, is against that accusation. Kenji's pursuit of truth forms the basis of a documentary exposing Japan's flawed justice system, including biased media and corrupt police.
