On the afternoon of June 30, the Seminar “Korean cinema: lessons in film industry development and international expansion” took place at Furama Resort Da Nang as part of DANAFF III.
This year’s seminar welcomed respected names who have played a key role in elevating Korean cinema on the global stage.
Attendees had the chance to hear directly from Mr. Kim Dong Ho, Former Chairman of the Busan International Film Festival, and Mr. Park Kwang Su, current Chairman of the festival. Also joining was actor Park Sung Woong, who offered insights from both the artist's perspective and real-world industry experience
Although unable to attend in person, actor Ji Chang Wook sent his best wishes for a successful DANAFF III. DANAFF hopes to welcome him at future film festivals.
Through the story of Korean cinema’s rise, the speakers shared valuable lessons and practical experiences—sparking ideas and possibilities for the continued growth of Vietnamese cinema.
