As part of DANAFF Talents, the Script Lab - Genre Film Project 2026 has attracted strong interest from the filmmaking community, with a large number of Round 1 project submissions received by the Organizing Committee.
Following the official closure of the Round 1 submission period, the Organizing Committee is currently reviewing and assessing the submitted applications. Round 1 results will be notified directly via email to the participating projects.
ROUND 2 SUBMISSION PERIOD
Projects selected from Round 1 are invited to submit their applications for Round 2 during the period of January 30, 2026, to March 15, 2026.
ROUND 2 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Round 2 - Submission period: January 30, 2026 - March 15, 2026
Applicants selected in Round 1 are required to submit the following materials:
• The complete screenplay
• Updated synopsis
• (Optional) Directing sample or visual references
• Applications submitted in Vietnamese and English
Selected projects will be announced by April, 2026.
The list of officially selected projects participating in the program will be announced in April 2026.
