The Da Nang Asian Film Festival and Vietnam Film Week Expand the Space for Cultural Exchange

Through the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival and the Vietnam Film Week in France, the space for showcasing, connecting, and engaging in dialogue for Vietnamese cinema continues to expand. Beyond film screenings, these events create opportunities for professional meetings, academic exchanges, and interactions among filmmakers, experts, and audiences from Vietnam and abroad.

Together, the two events have contributed to introducing Vietnamese cinema to international audiences within a structured, professional, and in-depth context.

Vietnam Film Week in Paris Leaves a Strong Impression on International Audiences

On the international stage, the Vietnam Film Week held in Paris, France, from December 5 to 12, 2025, marked the first time that 17 Vietnamese films—including feature films, documentaries, and short films produced over the past half-century—were presented to French and international audiences.

The event welcomed more than 6,000 visitors from over 20 countries, alongside numerous professional meetings and meaningful exchange activities. The warm reception from French and international audiences helped create a truly significant impression of Vietnamese cinema on the global map.
