Yuji Sadai

Mr. Yuji Sadai is one of Japan’s leading film producers and distributors. He founded Bitters End in 1994, a prominent company known for producing and distributing international arthouse films in Japan.

Throughout his career, he has served as Jury President of the Nest Film Students section at the San Sebastián International Film Festival in 2019 and has participated in various other international festivals.

Mr. Sadai has produced and co-produced numerous acclaimed films, including The Land of Hope (2012), This Is What I Remember (2022), and Drive My Car (2021, directed by Ryusuke Hamaguchi), which won the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film.
