Synopsis
Reversi follows the story of a man, Akid, who is given the ability to travel back in time, attempting to defy fate to save his wife and child. However, the journey is anything but easy. With time as the heartbeat of the narrative, this film takes audiences on an emotional ride, testing the limits of love, sacrifice, and hope.
Director's biography
Adrian Teh is a director, producer, and writer. He founded the Chinese Film Association of Malaysia in 2012 and launched Malaysia's first Chinese film award, the Golden Wau Awards, in 2013. He was named one of Malaysia's Top 10 Outstanding Youths and among the 100 Most Influential Young Entrepreneurs in 2016. Recently, he has gained recognition for the action films such as PASKAL: The Movie, Wira, The Assistant, and MALBATT: Misi Bakara. Reversi is his first sci-fi time travel film, acclaimed as the best local movie of 2024.
