Synopsis
At the age of 50, after many years carrying the family burdens, Li Hong finally made up her mind to leave. She took a brave step and started a self-driving tour to live her own life.
Director's biography
Yin Lichuan is a Chinese writer, poet and filmmaker. At first, Yin made her name writing novels and poetry, known as a member of the "Lower Body Poets." Later, Yin expanded into film. Her debut, The Park (2007), won FIPRESCI at Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival 2007. Her sophomore effort, Knitting, was released in 2008. She is also one of the writers of the famous film Under the Hawthorn Tree (2010).
